Danielle and Brad’s wedding day was full of laughter, tears and best friends. Danielle and Brad’s large families and close relationship with her siblings reminded me of my own family, and I loved capturing the close embraces and secret inside jokes the siblings made between themselves. I started the day with photos of the guys, which is new to me in Sudbury. I had done a few times in the Caribbean… but never with this many groomsmen! When one of the 8 groomsmen looked at me and said… you can pin a corsage, right? I very firmly said “no, you guys can all do your own.” I didn’t realize that they were all actually able to pin it… just not straight. I took pity on them… Oh men! Shortly after I headed over the Danielle’s. When I went to take pictures of the dress, Danielle informed me that since she didn’t have anywhere to hang it that was big enough, her father had to make a custom stand for it. From her teary bridesmaids to adorable flower girls, I was able to capture some amazing emotions while the bride got ready… I’m so excited to share them with you!
The reception took place at Bryston’s on the Park, in Copper Cliff. I just love shooting at Bryston’s! It has the most beautiful ceiling and natural window light late through the summer. This wedding had some lovely lighting for the dance… It really adds some oomph to the evening. I hope you like the photos! 🙂
