I had the chance to travel to Manitoulin Island for a wedding a few weeks ago. You may remember Sam and Katie from their stunning engagement on the farm. This couple did not disappoint with their originality, chemistry, and eye for beautiful locations!
We had two different locations, on a beautiful of farm with the most magnificent gardens, back yard and hosts, and on the beach with the boardwalk and sand.
The day started off in a crowded church (I LOVE standing room only churches-so friendly!), the ceremony was just the right length, any longer and we might have had people passing out (did I mention it was ridiculously hot?).
Katie looked like a model in her dress, and I have fallen in love with her freckles! It was a little tricky dodging A.W.C (Aunts With Cameras) in the crowded church to get a shot of her and her dad, but I managed to sneak through!
I love the way Sam looks at Katie. I first noticed it during the ceremony, and it continued throughout the day… you could tell he was hot and uncomfortable in the heat and crowded church… but every time he looked at her he managed a smile.
