Sudbury and Toronto Wedding Photographer
Khris and Lesley have such a romantic cute-meet…it all started one sultry Sudbury summer. Lesley was hired to teach Khris’s little sister horseback riding lessons on their farm. Khris’s mom would invite Lesley to stay for muffins and coffee…which soon turned into dinner. The two started spending more time together on their own and quickly turned into an item. After a few years of dating, Khris proposed while on a hike on Manitoulin Island.
The wedding details reflects the bride and groom’s love for the outdoors. From the amazing cupcake forest to the hand made centrepieces, every part of this wedding was personally planned by the bride (with input from the groom).
Kris and Lesley opted for the first look, or reveal session, which ended up being the bride’s favourite moment of the day. The reception and dinner took place in Bryston’s on the Part, in Copper Cliff. They ended the evening off with a crazy reception party which was lit by the fantastic Rosewood Songs (www.rosewoodsongs.com). It’s amazing the difference a well-lit hall makes in photos. If any brides are ever on the fence about hiring lighting for their reception… do it! Always!
I had such a great time shooting this wedding… there was so much energy throughout the day! This might have something to do with the groom and groomsmen partaking in extreme sports in their free time, from skydiving to skateboarding to parkour, cliff diving and rock climbing… it was one of the most energetic bridal parties I have ever shot!
