Rustic wedding at Bryston’s on the Park
Five years ago, Lindsay was at work on her first day at a new job and caught a glimpse of a tall, dark, handsome man.
After finding out he was an employee as well, she joked with her co-workers that he was going to be her future husband. It wasn’t long before these two were introduced and realized they had many of the same interests and shared a huge love for the outdoors.
A few years later, while on a hike at her family’s camp near Sudbury, Ontario, Dave brought Lindsay on a hike to her favorite childhood lookout. On a picturesque sunny summer day on top of a mountain overlooking a gorgeous Northern Ontario Lake, with just the two of them for miles, Dave pulled out the ring he was so nervous to loose in the woods, and asked Lindsay to marry him. Upon returning to the cottage, Dave had arranged a small celebration with friends and family, and the celebrated the engagement together.
Lindsay and Dave had their rustic wedding ceremony at Fielding Memorial Park in Lively, and choose it because of its lovely gardens, rustic building and proximity to their reception. They had their reception at Bryston’s on the Park in Copper Cliff and danced the night away to the fabulous DJ. Jason Stanton from the Muskoka Touring Company, who surprised everyone with his live performances. No really, the guests went crazy! The bridesmaids were rolling around on the floor, and DJ Jason had EVERYONE up dancing, from the children to the grandparents.
