Sudbury Ontario Art Gallery with Berta Bridal Wedding Dress

One of my favourite shooting locations for a Sudbury Wedding is the Art Gallery.  The old Bell mansion photographed beautiful with the brides sparkly, modern Berta Bridal dress. Despite serious Tornado warnings and a few delays due to bad weather, wedding planner Jacaranda Events  kept the bride and groom calm and everything running smoothly. The wedding took place in the heart of Sudbury, in Bell Park at the Katherine Bell Gazebo. Formals took place at the Art Gallery and the sunset session was shoot at field near the brides house. The reception hall was decorated beautifully from Unforgettable Weddings and Bill from  Absolute Weddings  successfully wore two hats as Officient and DJ. His love story rendition of Sarah and Brendans relationship had everyone in tears.

Love Story

It wasn’t until Brendan and Sarah moved 25 hours away from each other that they realized they wanted to be together forever. While Sarah was in pharmacy school, she realized she missed being woken up at 4:45 every morning to Brendan’s goodbye kisses. Brendan missed hearing  Sarah’s laughter- so he called her every day, sometimes multiple times a day, just to hear her voice.  They made the long trek to spend every spare moment together and once Sarah was done school they have been inseparable.

From the Groom: I don’t even know where to begin with Sarah’s quirky traits. She will laugh so hard at  her own jokes or stories that she can hardly finish the sentence. Most people will start laughing because her laugh is contagious, not because the joke was funny. She is a beautiful women and one of the most kind and caring people I have come to know. It’s no surprise she picked a career within health care where she can help and support people.

From the Bride: I’m sure it’s a cliche when brides say they loved seeing their groom for the first time but for me, that was it. Earlier that morning I was so stressed out with the severe thunderstorm warnings, multiple tornado warnings, and pouring rain that after a frantic call to Brendan worrying about the weather, all I wanted to do was see him and be with him – like I do every day. Once I saw him standing there smiling, waiting for me to walk down the aisle to him, I knew that everything was right and this was going to be the best day of our lives – I couldn’t wait to walk up to the arbour and marry him.

Engagement Session: You might remember this stunning couple from their sunset engagement session at the bride’s families camp in Espanola, Ontario.
