Sudbury Wedding Photography – Living with Lakes Centre
Maryse and Chad first met while in high school at a french conference. Chad, a tall, shy, long haired football player fell head over heals in love with Maryse, an extroverted musician with the beautiful smile. Football and music have been a big part of this couple’s life since they first met and they made use of some unique props in their awesome wedding photos. Their Sudbury wedding at Laurentian University’s Living with Lakes centre was an intimate wedding stuffed full of personal details.
Maryse and Chad had a hot beverage bar at the reception, which was a guest favourite due to the super cold weather on this late October date. They had the opportunity to choose from 15 different loose leaf teas and hot chocolate mixes for a special treat. The wedding favours were locally grown apple with the guests name written on a satin leaf. The couple also made a donation to the Sudbury Branch of the SPCA.
The bride’s custom shawl was designed and knitted by Sweet Yarns, a local yarn shop in Sudbury, Ontario. She used her grandmother’s antique pin to hold it together.
The groom was in charge of the cake and choose his favourite cake, Dairy Queen ice cream cake, to serve to the guests instead of a typical wedding cake. Maryse wore comfy and cozy moccasin slippers under her dress.
