Timberwolf Golf Course Wedding – Deanna and Dan
In any neighbourhood with a healthy population of children, there never fails to be the same few types any where you go. There’s always the bad kid, the nerdy kid, the new kid, the weird kid, the goody-two-shoes and the princess. Growing up in my neighbourhood I probably fit somewhere between goody-goody and, if I’m painfully honest, the weird kid. I was comfortable in my role and can look back on those days with a smile. However, that’s not to say I never admired her royal highness, the princess of Cedar Green Golf Course, our very own Deanna Dumont!
Deanna grew up a few house down the street from my childhood home and was besties with my brother Alex for many years. Last year she approached me to shoot her wedding, and it truly is a fairy-tale fit for a princess! From the shoes and the dress to the “Rock the Reception” dance with her father, Deanna was the perfect bride.
Held at Timberwolf Golf Course in Sudbury, ON, preparation for the wedding was very much a family affair. The bride and groom were actually their own planner and with the help of Moms, Dads and siblings, the couple managed to coordinate everything from the awesome reception to the beautiful, hand-made details.
