Killarney Mountain Lodge Wedding

As the first wedding ever at the newly built Killarney Mountain Lodge in Northern Ontario, James and Jen didn’t have any reference for what their wedding would be like, but thanks to the hard work of all the wonderful staff and organization from the bride, groom and family it was better than anyone expected! This bride and groom wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere for their guests and Killarney was the perfect destination for this wedding. The Killarney Mountain Lodge is situated within walking distance from the little fishing village and the resort had everything the guests needed including a craft coffee shop with charismatic barista, fireplace bar, kayaks, sauna, pool, multiple firepits and fresh fish frys.

It was such a joy to take part and capture my brother and new sister-in-law’s intimate wedding. I was standing as a bridesmaid in the wedding and had the help of many family members and friends to help take the photos I’m in. This is my 5th time as a bridesmaid-tographer, and thanks to a large bouquet, video recording on my Canon 5D Mark IV and easy to move in dress, the day went by without problems.

Jen and James were friends for awhile before they started dating and this friendship is key to their successful relationship. They love travelling together and are wonderful parents to their puppy Pippa. James worries about Pippa hurting herself all the time, and Jen worries that James worries about Pippa too much. Pippa is just happy she gets an elaborate birthday party each year complete with all her doggy friends and homemade dog cupcakes.
