Vancouver Boudoir Photographer – At Home Natural Sessions

vancouver Boudoir PhotographerCaroline Ross started the DIVINE project to celebrate the unique beauty of every day women in the comfort of their own home. She uses minimal photoshopping, hair and makeup, in order to capture natural beauty. Originally started in her hometown of Sudbury, Ontario, Caroline has brought these sessions to Vancouver.

As an artist, Caroline celebrates the small differences that set us apart – the freckles, grey hair, love handles and all curves and edges.  Shooting in the subjects home is more comfortable than a studio and embodies the unique surroundings of the individual. Each boudoir session has a different background, setting, clothing and lighting to accompany the unique goddess in front of the camera.

These Vancouver boudoir sessions focus on the female’s natural body, not the photographers ability to manipulate it. Flattering poses and natural lighting techniques are use to show off the females best qualities. The sessions have minimal editing except for unnatural imperfections like pimples.

Redefining a genrevancouver Boudoir Photographer

By creating authentic, natural yet still sexy portraits of women with body types that are celebrated for their individualities, DIVINE is redefining a genre that has been over-run with unrealistic expectations of what it means to be beautiful.
DIVINE focuses on the little details, the adorable freckles, original body types and natural curves. DIVINE strays away from the traditional in-studio boudoir sessions with makeup, hair and foreign props. All the clothing are the clients own, and hair and makeup is usually done by the client.

At Home Sessions

Caroline Ross works on location and photographers females in the comfort of their own home. This keeps every session different, and captures some of the clients personal style in the session.

Your photos have always been amazing. I just love how you describe females–that they are like snowflakes. It surely means that you understand your models/ clients. The result is their pictures show their personalities and emotions. Have a great day! xx
