Vancouver False Creek Seawall Walk

Yacht in Vancouver

Vancouver False Creek Seawall Walk

With the lovely weather Vancouver has been having lately, Jesse and I have started taking our long walks around the city, mostly around the False Creek Seawall. One large misconception about Vancouver is that it rains all year long. It’s just a few winter months that have days of rain and the summer is actually the second driest city in Canada. The spring and winter have a combination of rainy and sunny days and it looks like it’s starting to be springtime!

Pastels

I really wanted to capture the gorgeous pastels that overtake the city right after sunset, so we had to wait around a few minutes for the perfect moment. Luckily, there were tons of flowers and cherry blossom buds to keep us occupied, and after sunset a large full moon!

Sail Boats

When Jesse and I were living in the Caribbean, we stayed at the Yacht Club on the water and loved watching the boats and listening to the calming marina and ocean sounds. Vancouver reminds me a lot of St Maarten and summers spent with the family on my parents boat in Northern Ontario. I think a sailboat is in my (far away) future! Vancouver Cherry Blossom Watch Cherry Blossom Bud Cherry Blossom Bud False Creek Seawall Marina in Vancouver Vancouver Seawall False Creek Seawall Vancouver Yacht Club Vancouver Pastel Sky Flowers pinkVancouver Seawall Crocus Sunset Vancouver Science World
